Katya Morgun, 1982

Katya Morgun was born in Nizhniy Novgorod (Russia). Both she and her twin brother, Slava, demonstrated an interest in art at the early age of three.

At that point, Katya the child began her art career by quietly and spontaneously reflecting her early childhood experiences with colored pencils and watercolors.

From the ages of seven through fifteen, Katya attended art school in Nizhniy Novgorod.

In 1997 she completed the art school with both a diploma and an excellence rating - the highest attainable.

In the fall of 1997, she entered the painting department of Nizhniy Novgorod Art College from which she graduated in 2002 with a Cum Laude diploma.

In 2002, she moved to Moscow to study at the prestigious I. Glazunov Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.

During her studies at the art school, the art college and the academy, she was awarded certificates of honor for her participation in various exhibitions and diplomas.

Of great significance, in 2004 Katya’s painting for her graduation diploma from art college was exhibited at the third annual Russian Exhibition of Diploma Works by art students throughout Russia.

Held in the city of Yaroslavl, Katya was awarded the top prize by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

Katya Morgun è nata a Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia. Sia lei che suo fratello gemello, Slava, hanno dimostrato interesse per l'arte all'età di tre anni. A quel punto, Katya ha iniziato la sua carriera artistica riflettendo in modo tranquillo e spontaneo le sue esperienze della prima infanzia con matite colorate ed acquerelli.

Dall'età di sette a quindici anni, Katya ha frequentato la scuola d'arte a Nizhniy Novgorod. Nel 1997 ha completato la scuola d'arte con un diploma ed un punteggio di eccellenza - il più alto raggiungibile.

Nell'autunno del 1997, è entrata nel dipartimento della pittura del Nizhniy Novgorod Art College dal quale si è laureata nel 2002 con un diploma di Cum Laude.

Nel 2002 si trasferisce a Mosca per studiare presso la prestigiosa Accademia Russa di Pittura, Scultura e Architettura I. Glazunov.

Durante i suoi studi presso la scuola d'arte, il college d'arte e l'Accademia, le sono stati assegnati certificati d'onore per la sua partecipazione a varie mostre e diplomi.

Di grande importanza, nel 2004 la pittura di Katya preparata per il suo diploma di laurea al college d'arte è stata esposta alla terza mostra annuale russa con opere di diplome da studenti d'arte di tutta la Russia.

Tenuto nella città di Yaroslavl, Katya è stato insignito del primo premio dal Ministero della Cultura della Federazione Russa.
