Oleg Shuplyak è un talentuoso pittore Ucraino che ha la straordinaria particolarità di riuscire ad inserire nei suoi quadri delle bellissime illusioni ottiche.

Oleg nato a Ternopol in Ucraina ha studiato architettura al Politecnico Lviv.

La sua passione però è da sempre la pittura.

Infatti l’uomo da anni si dedica alla creazione di bellissime tele ad olio in cui il gioco di figure e l’illusione è elemento portante della bellezza del dipinto.

Gli oggetti e i personaggi dei suoi disegni hanno posizioni studiate nei minimi particolari e sono creati per evidenziare un secondo livello visivo del dipinto in cui cambia il punto di vista e appaiono nuovi personaggi e nuove scene.

Michel Ogier, 1943

Michel Ogier è nato a St. Etienne in Francia, ma ha trascorso gran parte della sua infanzia a Lione.

Nel 1960 entra a far parte della tipografia Bellecour di Lione per apprendere il mestiere di ritoccatore in heliogravure.

In questo periodo Maurice de Vlaminck gli piaceva per i suoi cieli tormentati; Bernard Buffet per le sue linee rigide; Georges du Mesnil de La Tour per la sua purezza e Salvador Dalì per la sua fantasia.

Max Ernst (1891-1976)

Max Ernst was a German painter, sculptor, graphic artist and poet.

A prolific artist, Ernst was one of the primary pioneers of the Dada movement and Surrealism.

Ernst was born in Brühl, near Cologne, the third of nine children of a middle-class Catholic family.

His father Philipp Ernst was a teacher of the deaf and dumb and an amateur painter.

Robert Coombs (American painter, 1970)

One of the most profound events for the artist occurred in late 1994 when he viewed the original works of Edwin Austin Abbey’s Shakespearean subjects on display at the Museum of Art at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

It was the first exhibit of a master artist Coombs had attended and it guided his future.

"For the first time in my life I could actually feel the emotional impact and power that painting could impart. I decided to seek after those attributes in my own work".

He became a member of Oil Painters of America in 2005 and won the "Hunter Editions Award of Excellence" selected by Dan Gerhartz.

The following year he won the best of show "American National Award of Excellence" selected by Peter Adams.

Si trasferisce ad Atene nel 1982.

Ha studiato architettura d'interni, arti decorative e design ad Atene.

Jozsef Karpati, 1956 | Hungary

Jozsef Karpati è nato a Kevermes, nella contea di Békés, in Ungheria.

Diplomato come insegnante di arti presso il Teacher Training College di Eger.

All'inizio si interessò allo stile pittorico non figurativo, che mostra l'influenza del suo maestro, Ignác Kokas.

Nel giro di alcuni anni ha trovato il suo personale mondo astratto di immagini.
