Christopher Clark | What a Wonderful World

A self-educated artist Christopher Clark has been an artist since early childhood when he would watch Bob Ross on PBS and mimic the famed oil painter’s art with crayons.

He considers himself a self-educated artist, with his studies ranging from personal training with contemporary masters, to classical academic art technique, with much inspiration from 19th Century art and the Impressionist Movement.

Christopher lived in Italy for a time, immersing himself in Italian culture and art, which continues to influence his painting.

He earned a BA from the University of Utah where Alvin Gittins was his mentor and later studied at the Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles.

Anastasia Vostrezova / Анастасия Вострецова was born in a family of artists in Ekaterinburg.

She spent all of her childhood in Moscow and in Pereslavl-Zalesski where her family had a summer house.

She graduated from the I.Shadr Art College, Ekaterinburg (2000) and continued her art education in Saint Petersburg.

In 2008 Anastasia Vostrezova graduated from the I. Repin Saint Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts, where she studied in the studio of Professor M. Devyatov.

Now she live and work in Saint Petersburg.

At the end of his studies, he began a career as a magistrate, successively in Boulogne-sur-Mer (1891), Avesnes-sur-Helpe (1894) and Cambrai (1897).

In his own words: "I was about 5 years when I felt tired of making the same old stuff.

Chopin | Prelude in E minor, Op 28, No. 4

The Prelude Op. 28, No. 4 by Frédéric Chopin is one of the 24 Chopin preludes.

By Chopin's request, this piece was played at his funeral, along with Mozart's Requiem.

The piece is only a page long and uses a descending melody line.

The melody starts with the dominant B and works its way to the tonic E, but halfway through the piece the descending line is interrupted and the melody starts over again.

Only in the last bars does the melody dissolve in the tonic and go through a chord progression to the soothing and satisfying.
