Scott Waddell è nato e cresciuto nella Florida centrale.

Ha ricevuto il suo BFA da Università statale della Florida.

Dopo il college, Scott ha trascorso gli anni successivi studia pittura classica all'Accademia d'Arte di Firenze e al Waterstreet Atelier sotto Jacob Collins.

Edwin Georgi (1896-1964) è stato un illustratore Americano, che ha lavorato dagli anni '20-'60, creando favolose opere d'arte per illustrare racconti, romanzi, riviste e pubblicità.

Stava studiando ingegneria civile a Princeton quando scoppiò la prima guerra mondiale.

Dopo aver prestato servizio come pilota nell'aeronautica militare degli Stati Uniti durante la guerra, Georgi ha accettato il suo primo lavoro come incollatore nel dipartimento artistico di un'agenzia pubblicitaria e ha iniziato la sua formazione pratica come artista.

Sir Anthony van Dyck | Family Portrait, 1621

"Family Portrait" is an 1621 painting by Sir Anthony van Dyck (1599-1641), a Flemish Baroque artist.

The identity of the family is not known. Earlier the painting was supposed to be the family portrait of the painter Frans Snyders.

Sir Anthony van Dyck studied under Peter Paul Rubens and was one of his most accomplished students. Van Dyck's career flourished and he went on to become England's leading court painter.

Using his own compositional techniques, van Dyck was soon ranked alongside Titian in terms of style and the relaxed elegance of his portraits helped shape English portraiture for almost two centuries.

Rolf Armstrong (American, 1889-1960)

Rolf Armstrong was born in Bay City, Michigan to Richard and Harriet (Scott) Armstrong. Armstrong's work for the Pictorial Review was largely responsible for that magazine achieving a circulation of more than two million by 1926.

A year later, he was the best selling calendar artist at Brown and Bigelow.

In 1930, RCA hired him to paint pin-ups to advertise their products, and in 1933 the Thomas D. Murphy Company signed him to produce a series of paintings for their line.

Rolf Armstrong died in 1960 on the island of Oahu, Hawaii as one of the best "pin-up" artists of the first half of the twentieth century.
