Armand Guillaumin | Figure painting


Born Jean-Baptiste Armand Guillaumin (1841-1927) in Paris, he worked at his uncle's lingerie shop while attending evening drawing lessons.
He also worked for a French government railway before studying at the Académie Suisse in 1861.
There, he met Paul Cézanne🎨 and Camille Pissarro🎨 with whom he maintained lifelong friendships. While he never achieved the stature of these two, his influence on their work was significant.

Claude Emile Schuffenecker (1851-1934)


Émile Schuffenecker was a French🎨 Post-Impressionist artist, painter, art teacher and art collector.
A friend of Paul Gauguin🎨 and Odilon Redon🎨, and one of the first collectors of works by Vincent van Gogh🎨, Schuffenecker was instrumental in establishing The Volpini exhibition, in 1889.
His own work, however, tends to have been neglected since his death - and even worse, recent season campaigns in the media have reactivated resentments virulent since the late 1920s, when Schuffenecker was suspected to have imitated the work of other contemporary artists, among them, Van Gogh.

Anna Marinova / Анна Маринова, 1983


Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, Anna Marinova studied at the Saint Petersburg Roerich College of Art.
From 2004-2010 she studied at The Repin🎨 Art Institute (The Russian Academy of Arts) in workshops with professor of painting V.V. Sokolov.
She began exhibiting in 2005, and in 2008 she was awarded🎨 with the gold medal of the Russian Academy of Arts for academic excellence.

Albert Marquet was a French painter, associated with the Fauvist movement.
He initially became one of the Fauve painters and a lifelong friend of Henri Matisse.
Marquet subsequently painted in a more naturalistic style, primarily landscapes, but also several portraits and, between 1910-1914, several female figure paintings.

Albert Henry Fullwood (1863-1930)


Albert Henry Fullwood was an Australian artist who made a significant contribution to art in Australia.
He painted with Heidelberg School artists around Melbourne and moved with Tom Roberts and Arthur Streeton to live and paint at their camp in Sirius Cove, Sydney.
Fullwood was the Australian official war artist to the 5th Division in the World War I.
Fullwood was born in Hockely, Birmingham, son of Frederick John Fullwood, jeweller, and his wife Emma, née Barr.
